Policies

We require a meet and greet with you and your pets in your home prior to service start date. We offer this at no charge, and it should take no more than an hour. This is our opportunity to meet you, your pets, to become familiar with your home and to review specific task needs.

We do not provide boarding services.

Payment in full and all signed release forms are requested by the start of the first service date. We accept cash, check and Zelle. If your banking establishment offers Zelle, funds can be sent through your mobile banking app. See sample VyStar YouTube video - Or your payment can be left in your home along with the feeding and general information instructions on the first day.

Long term trips, 12 days or more and holiday reservation require a min of 50% deposit to reserve space in our schedule. (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

Deposits are non-refundable unless notification of Cancellation is provided a minimum of 7 days prior to the scheduled service start date. If you have any changes to the service dates originally scheduled, notify us immediately. If you are returning early or delayed for any reason, please notify us immediately as well. This is to ensure that we do not make any unnecessary visits and to assure availability in our schedule to accommodate the additional visits needed. Additional fees will be applied for any additional visits.

We will send picture and communication updates regularly, keeping you informed on the safety and wellbeing of your pets and home. Timely responses are appreciated, especially in the case of an emergency needing your attention and input.
